Walmart Adding NEW RESTAURANT To Stores: Nevada Affected First!

There’s about to be a brand new smell coming to Walmart—and it’s not laundry detergent or $3 candles. Nope, this time it’s something WAY MORE delicious! Walmart is adding a new restaurant to many of its stores across the country. And for once, this one’s got me really excited. Especially because it's my favorite food: HOT DOGS!

Dreams Do Come True

Wienerschnitzel is going to be sliding into select Walmart Supercenters, bringing those glorious chili cheese dogs, crispy chili cheese fries, jalapeño poppers, and yes, even Tastee Freez soft serve right to the front of the stores.

Look, I'm a lifelong hot dog lover (I'm totally obsessed), and this is some of the best news I’ve heard all week. Seriously, if you’ve never had a chili cheese dog from Wienerschnitzel (especially if you add onions), you're missing out on a truly American (or maybe German) experience.

Where’s It Happening?

So far, Walmart locations in Reno, Nevada and a few other lucky spots like Tempe, AZ and Bakersfield, CA are getting the upgrade by fall.

And I’ve got one burning question:
WHY NOT SOUTHERN UTAH?!

We used to have a Wienerschnitzel in St. George, but it closed down (RIP). Ever since then, it’s been a real hot dog desert down here! I mean, where else can you even get a hot dog? Sonic? I'll be crossing my fingers that soon, one of the Southern Utah Walmart locations will drop Subway and pick up Wienerschnitzel!
