What is the best energy drink in Utah?

Energy through drinks can be a heavy topic in Utah because of the health code that is religiously held in our state. Many of us who are trying to balance our health, religion, and energy are caught in a crossroads of many options.

I was just talking to my sister about her feelings, and I realized that the market for "legal" energy has exploded. Utah, againto not be in blatant rebellionseems to be a fertile market for new ideas to avoid the forbidden options

What is the best energy drink?

Obviously, this question can be a minefield, but setting aside chemicals that are explicitly restricted, I think we can agree on this point: The best energy drink is the one that works for you.

Now, as you are glaring at me for this give-up answer that you would give in any formal debate/classroom to save face, here is my argument:

First, Note Your Reaction: Our bodies respond differently to different chemicals, artificial and natural. I used to be pretty proud that I was able to drink Mountain Dew and go to bed and sleep just fine to the awe of friends. However, as I have tried other options, some drinks that don't bother my friends get my heart racing. So obviously, it is up to you to study how your specific body reacts to specific drinks.

Second, Make a Goal: So often, I find myself reaching for an answer to a question I haven't thought out very well. I get tired every early afternoon, so I might try to take something to get me through that, but forget that I wake up around 10:00 and get productive. So look at your whole day, clearly identify the problem, and what specific results you want.

Third, Monitor your Progress: Often, I get through a day and then forget what I did to get through it. Make notes and monitor your progress. I might add that if your energy supplementation is giving you the jitters, you are getting too much. Just think about it: Your body was not built to run so fast that it is in overload.

So, whether it's organic, monstery, or some hot not coffee, remember your best solution includes how it affects you.
