Was high school so traumatic that you burned all your yearbooks? Have you run into someone who says they had a crush on you from your teen years, but you don’t recognize their name or their face. You go to the garage and find your yearbooks have suffered water damage?

You can look up your yearbooks online. You may already know about Classmates.com where you can interact with high school chums and look at the old yearbooks, but you might not have realized you can look up photos on Ancestry and FamilySearch.

I looked up my photo from Timpview High School from way too long ago. You can see the hint of a mullet behind my collar. I want to go back to that earlier self and tell him he is too worried about the hair in the back, and he should focus on what’s on top, as it will start leaving soon.

I think if I had known that quick class photo was going into some permanent database that my kids can look up long after I’m gone, I might have tried to look more wise. Who am I kidding, I would have just looked more like a dork.

If you want to look up you or an old classmate in a yearbook photo, here is information on Wicki How that shows how to find it on the different sites. Hopefully you won’t have the experience of finding someone in your old yearbook and still not be able to remember them. Seems like my memory left with my hair.
