REALLY?? Most Popular Ice Cream Brand in Utah is…
I eat ice cream like Costanza at the US Open.
There are those who say: "put a bunch of hard things in and on top of my ice cream."
And then there are those who say: "I don't want any distractions."
I'm more the latter.
I don't want a bunch of chunks of frozen pieces of anything in the cream. I want the ice cream to speak for itself.
When I go to Handel's I get the cake batter and I don't want sprinkles or chunks of chocolate.
That's blaspheme to some people.
To not order chocolate is abhorrent to them.
But, whether you like vanilla or chocolate, Utahns apparently can all agree on a brand.
Tillamook named most popular ice cream brand in Utah
I love Tillamook. I love the ice cream, I love the cheese, I love the name.
I know that Blue Bell is new in the Beehive State and a lot of people like that.
I know Blue Bell is huge in Texas which makes me question this chart that has Jeni's (never heard of it) as the most popular.
Hmmm.
There's a Jeni's in Vegas.
Maybe we should look into it.
According to the post:
"Ben & Jerry’s holds the top spot in 14 states, largely in New England and the Northeast, consistent with its Vermont origins. Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams follows closely in second place, leading in 13 states with a strong presence across the South, Midwest, and Mid-Atlantic."
Ok maybe it's more of an eastern thing.
Anyway, let us know your favorite in the comments!
