In the words of Bernie Mac: "Women be shoppin'"

And they be shoppin' for a couple different reasons.

1. It's hot out

It's July and it's painful outside and there's nothing more refreshing than walking into Dick's Sporting Goods, or the mall, or Target.

You have no intention of buying anything but you've got three hours to kill. Especially if you have kids.

How many splash pads can you take them to?

Target is crisp and you come away with some cool treats from the freezer aisle.

2. Dope

When you buy something you get a hit of that sweet-sweet.

Your brain gets a sip of dopamine that keeps your will to live just above the Mendoza line. Even if you're just buying a six pack of brown socks.

Sometimes that hit is all you need to keep going.
