Some people say you're not really a rock band until you get into a fight on-stage and have to cancel the rest of your tour.

That's what has happened to the good folks of Jane's Addiction.

During a show in Boston the lead singer Perry Farrell and the guitarist Dave Navarro get into a scuffle. You can watch below:

Per KSL.com, the band put out a press release saying:

"The band (has) made the difficult decision to take some time away as a group. As such, they will be canceling the remainder of the tour," (KSL article).

They were supposed to play in Sandy, UT on October 4th but that's not happening anymore.

We'll see if the boys can get it together in the future.

It's amazing to me that any band lasts longer than an afternoon.

Farrell told The New York Times:

“This weekend has been incredibly difficult and after having the time and space to reflect, it is only right that I apologize to my bandmates, especially Dave Navarro, fans, family and friends for my actions during Friday’s show. Unfortunately, my breaking point resulted in inexcusable behavior, and I take full accountability for how I chose to handle the situation.”

Good for Perry.

Here's the deal: we just want to hear one song. We'll pay the same amount as we would for a full concert if we don't have to listen to any of the new crap. Just play "Jane Says" and let us out with enough time to hit Arby's on the way home.
