Utah's Statement to the BIG 12...

Office Space is one of the greatest movies ever made. Came out in 1999. It has Lumberg and a bunch of actors you recognize but don't know their names. And one of the characters thinking he's about to go to prison and somebody tells him, your first day in prison either kick someone's ass or become someone's B.

This is the line that came to my mind on Saturday, Utah's first day in the big 12. Leading up to the Utes game with oklahoma state there was a lot of bluster. The BIG 12 hates Utah because Utah thinks its too good for the conference. Thinks they should be in the big 10 with usc oregon and washington. Utah fans have made enemies with every other big 12 fanbase. The entire conference was cheering for the Cowboys to kill Utah, the whole prison yard wanted Oklahoma state to set the tone. Show this cocky Utah bunch and their obnoxious fanbase how things were gonna work in the yard. And Kyle Whittingham took off his shirt, pointed at the baddest dude in the place Mike Gundy, and proceeded to and beat the hell out of him for three hours straight. Anybody else have a problem? This is my conference now.

BYU Getting Ready For a Reunion

They say if you wanna lose 10 pound you need to have a trip to hawaii in your future or heck a high school reunion. My brother just went to his 25 year high school reunion and he sent some pictures and everybody looked great. Trim, big white smiles, half of them looked better than they did in high school. That's the power of a high school reunion. You're not gonna show up out of shape. You haven't seen these people in 25 years you wanna make sure they know how much better you are then them.

This is the only explanation I can come up with for BYU football who just massacred Kansas State. This is the same defense who was dead last season in QB pressures, sacks 11 all year. They gave up 417 yards a game 4th worst in the conference. Then this year all of a sudden they're a top 3 defense. Giving up only 269 yards per game. Well on their way to 30 sacks. Same scheme. Roughly the same players. What's different. Why have they tightened everything up. Why do they look so good? It might have something to do with the fact, that they have a high school reunion on November 9th. Their Ex is gonna be there. They haven't seen each other in 5 years. Can you think of anything more motivating to help you drop a couple pounds?
