Or what about the Old Yankee stadium having monuments on the field of play. 3 foot high monuments like gravestones on the warning track. What about leather helmets in football or doing a jumpball after every made basket back in the day in basketball.

In 10 years kids are going to look back in wonderment as they peruse box scores from week ones in college football's past. Ole Miss 76 Furman 0. Tennessee 69 Chattanooga 3. Arkansas 70 Pine Bluff 0. Louisville 62 Austin Peay 0. In ten years these kids are going to be like. You're telling me POWER Schools played FCS schools? Wow. Oh look Montana State beat New Mexico. What Utah used to play SUU! WOW. Week one is full of blowouts and bad games, but I'd say enjoy the weirdness of these matchups while you can. I fear for FCS football when the power schools eventually stop paying them to play. These games might become as obsolete as helmet-less hockey players."

One of the best things about our political process is after the primaries... when a politician is forced to endorse his opponent, the guy that beat him in the primary. And you know how much he hates him. He was just fighting and calling him horrible things and what a bad person he is for six months and now he's forced to get up in front of a microphone and say how he believes this is the right person for the job. You know he's in pain. And he can't possibly mean what he's saying. The look on his face when they do that is very similar to the face I saw on Kalani Sitake yesterday, when he endorsed BYU's quarterback room.

He said BYU has a lot of options at quarterback and that he feels really good about the depth at quarterback. What? BYU's quarterback room returns zero power 5 wins from last year. Retzlaff zero 0-4, Bohanon zero 0-4, Hillstead zero...zero opportunities. DISCLAIMER I understand that Retzlaff threw zero interceptions in Spring Ball, remarkable because reports were that the byu defense was flying around out there...in their shorts. It's hard to laud your quarterbacks in a conference that has Jalon Daniels, Garrett Greene, Shedeur Sanders, Noah Fifita and others. Even UCF went and bought a guy who at least had one power 5 win last year. I hope Bohanon plays like he did in 2021. I hope Retzlaff plays like he did against El Camino. I hope to see my friend and shake his hand. But Kalani let's not endorse this group to hard...
