America Has a New FAVORITE SUPERMARKET and it’s Here in Utah
There's nothing like a supermarket.
The bright colors. The moms. The produce. The musack.
You can grab a wedge of plastic wrapped gouda cheese and examine it as if you actually might buy it. Lift it up and smell it. It's $17.89. You put it back.
You can pick up the great cereal titans like Lucky Charms or Cinnamon Toast crunch, the cereals that made your childhood great. And then you can put them back. $8.49.
Everybody has a favorite grocery store whether it's Smith's or Harmon's or Lin's or Albertson's. But America has a new favorite grocery store and it's also here in Utah.
According to Yahoo! that store is...
Trader Joe's.
"These two chains [Trader Joe's and Publix] tied for the top spot, each with a satisfaction score of 84. While Trader Joe's, known for its unique (and affordable!) private-label food products and cult following, is a favorite in the West, Publix earned high scores in the South."
"Participants were chosen at random and asked to evaluate their experiences with large supermarkets, plus an aggregate category of "all other" (think: smaller grocery stores). The surveys assessed convenience of store hours and locations, availability of brand names and high-quality ingredients, courtesy and helpfulness of staff, mobile app experiences and accuracy of pick-up orders. All responses factored into one general satisfaction score used for the rankings."
Alright, so where does Trader Joe's stack up in your opinion? I'd say they have the most rabid fans of any grocer I've come across. I've never been to Publix or Wegman's or some of these other places. But I love Trader Joe's stuff.
