Are you one of these friendly neighbors who waves at every jogger or goes and chats up the guy standing in his driveway on a Saturday morning?

I aspire to be that type of neighbor but I fall well short. When I go for walk around the block I'm constantly looking for ways to avoid people. I don't want to have to do a bunch of stop and chats with every poor bass neighbor who happens to be outside as I'm walking by.

This is why I don't live in the friendliest town in Utah.

According to nextdoor.com, the friendliest town in Utah is....Ivins!

"Ivins, UT is a peaceful, scenic town loved by Nextdoor Neighbors for its stunning red rock landscapes and friendly community. Known for its nature trails and walkability, it's a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and those seeking a quiet, beautiful place to live. The top reasons Nextdoor Neighbors love Ivins are: architecture, atmosphere, beautiful, community, friendly, nature, peaceful, quiet, scenery, and walkability." (LINK TO FULL ARTICLE).

Ivins has a score of 100 for friendliness on Nextdoor. That's as high as it goes!

Good for Ivins!

Ivins has also gotta be one of the most beautiful towns in all of Utah. They have amazing views and a cool small town feel. I think Ivins feels separate from St. George but still has all of the positives about St. George. People are constantly complaining about the traffic and all the people moving to Southern Utah but I feel like Ivins might dodge a lot of that.
