FINALLY! Maverik Cookie MYSTERY SOLVED in Utah
There are those get off at the Fillmore exit and go to Love's and those that go to Maverik.
It seems like 95% go to Maverik despite the crowds, but Love's has a great thing going too. Clean bathrooms etc.
I'm not an expert on Love's snacks, I've heard good things, but I kindof doubt that they have a cookie as good as what Maverik puts out. I get the chocolate macadamia nut one. It's awesome.
Anyway, apparently there was a big controversy over the last couple of weeks on Reddit because the calorie count on the chocolate chip cookie was only 250 calories and all the other cookies had 400 calories or above.
Here's the post:
I need to know. How are Maverik CC Cookies only 250 calories when every other one is over 400??

Some people made jokes like u/Thin-Satisfaction-26:
"Because you’re a nitro member and you get a discount on everything. Normally they would be 400 calories."
Others gave more reasonable explanations like u/Jon_the_trainer:
"Peanut butter is dense in calories. Most mistake it as a high protein food. It is in fact a high fat food with some protein. Take a look at your peanut butter nutritional label. Close to a 2:1 fat:protein ratio."
But apparently enough people cried foul that Maverik has changed the calorie count on their chocolate chip cookies to 440 Calories. See below:
Wow. That was fast. I think there's a Seinfeld episode about this...anyway Maverik cookies are great and I am fat.
