Have You Heard? This Legendary Utah Restaurant is Closing
There's a place in Salt Lake where you expect to see Patrick Swayze in a tight black t-shirt with a pack of cigarettes in one of his sleeves.
It's called Garage on Beck and it's a roadhouse that serves hot food and hot music.
It's been a famous place to hangout, get a burger and listen to bands for a long time, and it's closing at the end of May.
It's basically where a lot of the cool people hang out in Salt Lake.
And it looks like it has a great vibe to it doesn't it?

"After a storied 16-year run, the bell has been rung for last call at the much-loved Garage On Beck. “There are a number of different factors”, explains owner Robert McCarthy, “but ultimately, our lease is coming to an end in the not-too-distant future. Probably, the business wouldn’t be able to continue at that point. This feels like the right time to bow out gracefully, and raise a few last glasses with our regulars.”
I wish I had known about this place I would have taken my biker friends to get a chicken fried chicken steak.

The owner says "everything is for sale," the reclaimed wood, HVAC, etc...very sad.
"For the rest of us, circle May 31st on your diaries, that’s the last day of business for one of Utah’s most unique spots. They just don’t make ’em like this anymore folks." (LINK TO FULL ARTICLE)
