DJ’s Super Honest Food Review: Mainly Pizza

For months now, I've been hearing whispers about an amazing pizza place called Mainly Pizza. I've even seen a small billboard for it off I-15 in New Harmony. Here's the thing though... Mainly Pizza is located in Leeds at 545 North Main Street. Yeah, tiny little Leeds, Utah is home to some seriously awesome pizza? We need to find out for ourselves!

THE MENU:

If you look closely, you'll notice just how inexpensive this menu is for a little hole in the wall place out of town! I expected it to be much higher. But they're just MAINLY Pizza, not ALL Pizza! They have more items like...

But their Pizza Menu was the real reason I was there! I'm pretty basic when it comes to pizza. I like a plain old boring Pepperoni Pizza best, but this time I decided to branch out a tiny bit! They have tons of different pizza flavors like...

MY ORDER:

I went with the Meats Pizza (Pepperoni, Sausage, and Ham) but the waitress, and owner of the restaurant, Roxanne, told me that she would suggest adding Bacon to the pizza. Of course, I took her advice. I also ordered the 8-piece boneless chicken wings with their Chili Garlic House "J Sauce".

I expected these chicken wings to just be blah and boring, but NO! THEY WERE SPECTACULAR! TRULY! Plus, instead of 8, they brought 11 boneless wings! I'll never complain about getting more food than I paid for!

Right as I wrapped up with the wings, the pizza made its way to our table. Hot, steamy, melty cheese, looking so incredible... AND IT WAS! The pizza was a 12-inch with a soft, but also crispy crust, cooked so perfectly.

MY PRICE:

I've been to a lot of mom & pop restaurants, and they usually have higher prices to be able to keep the lights on. I expected a higher price at Mainly Pizza, especially being located in Leeds. But that wasn't the case at all. For 8 boneless wings, and a large speciality pizza, and ranch, my total was just $31.96. This filled two people, and we split the bill evenly. $15 bucks for all that food? I'll absolutely take it!

WHY YOU SHOULD TRY MAINLY PIZZA:

I love that the husband and wife running this place were both serving us and cooking the food. That's a true mark of a great mom & pop shop! Roxanne was very kind, great service, turned the tv's to the basketball game we wanted to watch, and even suggested some fun in the area for us to do! The pizza was SO GOOD, I'm already craving it again! They also have tons of deals and specials. Plus, if you like beer & pizza, you can find it at Mainly Pizza!

HOURS OF OPERATION:

According to Google, they're closed on Mondays, but open Tuesday-Sundays. Their hours are 11:30 am - 8:00 pm Tuesday-Saturday, and 11:30 am - 7:00pm on Sundays.

I absolutely recommend heading down to Leeds one of these days, and trying Mainly Pizza!
