You may not know this, but NASCAR is a sport that thrives on sponsorship.

Gasp.

That extra influx of cash from a sponsor is a necessity in keeping up with cost of running a race team, remaining competitive and above all creating an identity.

NASCAR drivers are known for three things.

Those being the car number, their talent as a driver and the brands that are plastered across their vehicle on any race weekend.

Brands help shape the sport financially and visually.

So, here’s some straight out of Utah who have hitched a ride with the fastest left turns in the world.

Built Bar:

The protein bar company out of northern Utah spent a handful of years on the Spire Motorsports #7 Chevrolet with Cory Lajoie. Together, they made some pretty good looking cars.

Bucked Up:

Energy Drinks and going fast? Seems like a great fit. Bucked Up splashed into NASCAR multiple times, primarily being featured in the NASCAR Xfinity series while also being the title sponsor for the Truck series race in Las Vegas.

Alsco Uniforms:

Speaking of sponsoring races in Las Vegas, Alsco has done that the last handful of years for the Xfinity race and has been the title sponsor for Cup races and other Xfinity series races in multiple locations. They also appear on a cup car pretty regularly including two years ago on the #8 RCR Chevrolet with Kyle Busch.

Smith’s Food and Drug:

Smith’s is a Utah staple when it comes to grocery shopping and has appeared on the racing circuit via Kroger Brand sponsor deals. They have been featured in a minor spot (bumper, quarter panel, etc….) on select schemes most recently with JTG Daugherty's #47 Chevrolet.

Overstock.com

The online retailer may do business on the world wide web, but they are based in the beehive state. It hitched itself to Stewart-Haas racing last season appearing on the #4, #10, #14 and #41 Ford's for a handful of NASCAR cup races.

Fat Boy Ice Cream:

Ice Cream looks extra cool on a stock car, as shown below. The most recent appearance I can personally recall was back in 2020 on JJ Yeley’s #27 Premium Motorsports Ford.

Black Rifle Coffee Company:

The Veteran-owned coffee company is no stranger to NASCAR. Appearing on Cup rides with Noah Gragson and Ty Dillon the last handful of years, it would surprise no one to see them on a car sometime this upcoming season. They also appeared as the primary sponsor for motor sports star, Travis Pastrana, when he finished 11th in the 2023 Daytona 500.

With the sponsor scene ever changing in modern NASCAR, keep your eyes peeled for the next Utah company to make an appearance.

That is if the car's ever slow down enough for you to see it.
