See the Scarecrow Walk With Free Fun For Southern Utah Families
October means it is time for the scarecrows to come out and haunt this Southern Utah canyon. If you are new to the area or just finding out about all the free fun for local families, the Scarecrow Walk and Haunted Canyon should be on your list.
Welcome to the Scarecrow Spectacle!
This is a free event that takes place every night from now until Halloween at Red Hills Desert Gardens. It starts at 5 PM and goes until 10. This is a place that was built to educate the public about water conservation and to design attractive landscapes.

It has a garden area that shows native plants that work well with our climate. It also has a canyon you can walk through. It is kind of a cool place even outside of the time the scarecrows show up.

Community Creativity: Scarecrows and Spooky Shenanigans
During Halloween the place is decorated with scarecrows that were designed by people in the community and local businesses. There are surfers, knights, and vampire scarecrows. This year, don't miss the clown in the storm drain.

They decorate the garden and the canyon as you walk through. This is an enjoyable time during the daylight hours and when it gets dark. A good time for little kids in strollers to the age that will trick-or-treat this year.
