I drive by the Sun River exit every afternoon and look for any update or progress on the spot where IN-N-OUT is supposedly going.

I sit Indian style and meditate and try to become one with the vibrations of the Earth and the thinking of Lynsi Snyder, the CEO of IN-N-OUT.

Is this thing actually happening?

Well, I saw an official update yesterday from the great Macrae Heppler.

He shared a post from Chad Thomas who is the Economic Development Director for the City of St. George.

"Project update on a highliyy anticipated restaurant!

The PROPOSED In-N-Out received unanimous positive recommendation from the Planning Commission last night.

Located at 4617 S. Pioneer Rd (off Exit 2) in the City of St. George, the proposed restaurant will be approximately 3,887 SF with both indoor and outdoor dining options for guests. No ETA on construction timeline but this is a great first step in seeing the project come to fruition.

We appreciate the company's interest in our city and know this will be another successful location for the brand."

So although we don't have any further information on the timeline, we know that it is moving forward. They had a vote it was unanimous and we're ready to go!

Whew!

For a second there I thought it was all a mirage and that I would have to keep eating at redacted on my way home! What a nightmare that would have been.

Good for the City of St. George for getting this done.
