Starbucks in Utah and Nevada Make BIG CHANGE
Starbuck's has most of the world high on their supply.
They have so many different mocha-latte-cream-iced-brewed coffee choices that it just gets everybody all revved up.
BUT...the biggest thing that made Starbucks different was they allowed anybody to walk in and use the bathroom (including hobos). That was their rule since 2018!
Can you imagine in a busy city how many people would be in and out of there? It'd be like D-Day everyday.
But recently, Starbucks reversed their position on being the potty for the public.
From Fox Business: (LINK TO FULL ARTICLE)
"The popular coffee chain Starbucks is putting the kibosh on its open-door policy and will now only welcome paying customers to hang out and utilize the restrooms at its stores.
In a letter directed to store managers and above, which the company provided to Fox News Digital, Starbucks executive vice president and president of Starbucks North America Sara Trilling noted that "we are establishing a new code of conduct that will be displayed in every store. This is common practice, and makes clear that our spaces, including our cafes, patios and restrooms, are for use by paying customers and our partners."
Bam.
This seems reasonable.
But I must say in a place like New York or San Francisco your visiting and you're walking around pounding the pavement seeing all the sights, to have a generous place like Starbucks allow you to come in, not have to wait in line and buy something, and use the restroom was a beautiful thing.
But all good things come to an end when too many people make a mess.
