HEAD COACH:

The two victories over Hurricane this year will ensure this is the 5th straight season in which the Reds have swept their Region 9 foe.
TOP SCORER:
Landon Kreitzer, 6’2, Senior, Guard.
14.5 PPG, 3.9 RPG, 1.3 APG
With 39 triples drained on the season and a grand total of 319 points, Kreitzer is a unique player at the 4A level.
When Landon isn’t hitting the deep ball, you likely find him at the free throw line as an elite contact creator who ensures points in one way or another.
This season has seen Kreitzer drill 70 made free throws in 100 tries.
Kreitzer has hit a three in 18 of Cedar’s 22 matchups and hit 2 or more in 11 of those 18.
Defenders always have to be aware of Cedar’s presence from deep, whether it be set shots or catch and shoot, Kreitzer can snipe when given space.
SYNOPSIS:
Despite being a tough year for Cedar, this isn’t a team that you can write off when it comes to playoff action this coming week.
Cedar has played in 7 single digit games this year, these games were simply a couple defensive stops or made baskets away from what could have been a different outcome, and for a young ball club are all major learning experiences.
Cedar isn’t a team you’re going to want hanging around.
In discussing Kreitzer, one would also have to recognize fellow senior, Easton Albrecht who is putting up 13.6 PPG, 4.7 RPG and 2.5 Assist.
His impact is equally essential to Cedar posting a playoff push. Easton has one less mad three this year than Landon at 38.
If the Reds can find ways to get their two-star seniors’ opportunities to get solid looks, Cedar could give some teams fits.
