Why Utah Parents have been Storming McDonalds

Every Utah mom goes to McDonalds at least twice a day.

Once to get themselves a hardball (Coke) at about 10 a.m.

The next is to get the kids nuggies.

There may be a third trip in the afternoon to get ice cream.

But now, moms are are heading to Mickey D's even more in order to get a new toy for their little rug rats.

McDonalds Offering Long Awaited Toy in Happy Meals

According to the Reno Gazette Journal:

"Lovers of squishy viral toys can get them with a side of fries once more as McDonald’s brings back its popular Squishmallows Happy Meal.

McDonald’s started serving up its Squishmallows Happy Meal this month, which includes 12 different designs. The fast-food chain last offered the Squishmallows Happy Meal in late 2023.

“You’ve waited patiently for two years, and we want to let all collectors know, there’s a new squad on the block that you won’t want to miss out on,” said McDonald’s via its corporate website."

It's amazing the type of crap that kids go for.

There's about 15 different Squishmallow characters that parents have had to get they're kids. That's three weeks' worth of visits to the golden arches.

Next up is toys from the new movie Elio.

Not sure what it is, I'm sure we'll all be watching it soon.

To be fair, there was nothing like going to McDonald's as a kid. Back when they looked like a kid's dreamland. The colors were a little different, the shape was different, Ronald was out in front, PlayPlaces were a big deal.

The point is, now is no time to be a grump. It's just not your turn anymore fatsoe.
