
Utah Tech Baseball Heads to Texas
Utah Tech gets back into WAC play this weekend against Abilene Christian.
The Trailblazers going through a tough stretch right now having lost three to UVU and then losing 19-1 to BYU.
Before that they had won 8 of their last 10 games.

FIRST PITCH: Utah Tech (15-17/1-5 WAC) returns to Western Athletic Conference play this weekend with first of two April trips to "The Lone Star State" for a three-game series at Abilene Christian (17-14/2-7 WAC).
Friday's series opener will start at 5:05 p.m. (MT), followed by game two on Saturday at 2:05 p.m. (MT), and Sunday's series finale at 11:05 a.m. (MT), at Crutcher Scott Field at Bullock Brothers Ballpark (4,000) on the ACU campus in Abilene, Texas.
ALL-TIME SERIES: Utah Tech is 1-5 all-time vs. Abilene Christian and has lost five-straight in the series overall, this after claiming the first-ever meeting between the two sides during the 2023 season in Abilene (14-6; 5/5/23).
The Wildcats went on to win the next two games on their home diamond to clinch the series, then posted a three-game road sweep over the Trailblazers last season at Bruce Hurst Field (4/26-28/24).
FINALLY ELIGIBLE FOR POSTSEASON PLAY: Not only is the 2025 season Utah Tech's fifth Division I season overall, it is also the FIRST season that the Trailblazers are eligible for NCAA postseason play.
The NCAA Division I Board of Directors officially approved Utah Tech's move to active Division I status back on June 28, 2024. With that confirmation, Trailblazer Athletics is now officially eligible to participate in all NCAA postseason championships in its 15 intercollegiate programs.
