Weird Balloon Floating in Utah County isn’t Dangerous
There are those that look up into the sky and see a cloud that looks like that lady from Mr. Holland's Opus. And they kind of tilt their head and instruct you to do the same. And sometimes the only way to get back to your house is to pretend you hear your baby crying.
Then there are the kind of people see something in the sky and are like "this has been foretold..." And it's a balloon of some kind?
This is sort of what happened up in Springville the other day. There was an unidentified balloon that was a weird shape flying in the sky that concerned the locals.
According to KUTV.com: (link to full article)
"The balloon that was floating around Wednesday has been identified as a stratospheric exploration balloon that measures solar radiation.
Police posted, 'I really don’t know what that means because I am just a cop with a high school diploma. I Google image searched it though, and everyone is safe."'
That's pretty good by those cops. Can imagine if you were a cop and had people constantly calling you about dumb stuff? I'm guessing it might be hard to keep a sense of humor about it.
I feel like in order to make it easy on people anybody that flies anything should put a sing on it that says NO UFO. It would save the boys in blue from having their phone lines jammed up.
"[Police] asked that anyone with conspiracies about the unidentified flying object reach out on their Facebook post rather than dispatch." (Link to full article on KUTV.com)
