7 Reasons Utah Needs to Dump the PAC 12

The Pac 12 is dying a slow death...Utah needs to jump to the BIG 12 ASAP. Here's why...

REASON NUMBER 7

The BIG 12 has the best basketball in the country.

I know basketball is second fiddle, but they're going to get a thousand teams in the tournament this year. Meanwhile the PAC 12 is gonna get three.

Texas and Oklahoma may be leaving but who cares. Adding Houston is going to make up for those two programs instantly. Oklahoma has been weak over the last decade.

REASON NUMBER 6

The BIG 12 has awesome fanbases who care about football!

The PAC 12 is way too cool and progressive to care about football. It's too violent. It's on Saturdays when they're all surfing. People in the great plains start getting drunk at 7AM.

REASON NUMBER 5

THE MASCOTS. Wait, maybe the mascots in the PAC 12 are better, they have Ralphie...

Kansas State's mascot is embarrassing.

Lady Zorro is ok. But I think Ralphie and the Trojan are cooler. Swoop is super lame (sorry Ute fans).

REASON NUMBER 4

T. Boone Bleeping Pickens. I think the BIG 12 has more alumni who are rich than the PAC. Especially after USC leaves.

I understand Oregon has Phil Knight. But after that...

REASON NUMBER 2 & 3

Gus Johnson. The BIG 12 gets Gus to announce all their biggest games. 

He's the best there is. PAC 12 doesn't have an equivalent.

REASON NUMBER 1

The "Conference of Champions" nickname. 

This has become a punchline. The PAC 12 hasn't won a football or basketball championship since W. was president. Everyone is laughing...

The Utes need to jump to the BIG 12.
