Authorities Cracking Down on Rich Utah Drivers
It's always pretty arousing to see a Lamborghini or something in your little town.
Sometimes you'll see a Ferrari and you'll just be like: "that b-wipe is from California."
And other times you'll see a Maserati in a Taco Bell drive thru and you're like: "I bet he's getting the Luxe Box." (or she!)
Well, according to Bloomberg, these fancy car drivers are getting the hammer dropped on them in Utah.
What some of them do is register their expensive cars in Montana and then drive them in Utah.

"The pitch to out-of-staters is simple: Form an LLC in Montana; use it to purchase an asset with no sales tax; register with a Montana license plate; and drive, float, or fly anywhere in the country without hassle. The pricier the vehicle, the higher the savings."
Sounds pretty smart, but Utah's head man in charge is sick of not getting his tax money.
"Utah Gov. Spencer Cox (R) signed a law on March 25 launching the most ambitious enforcement campaign in the country—a data-sharing arrangement to locate and assess tens of thousands of Utah tax evaders, with a particular focus on the owners of cars and boats registered in Montana. Supporters say the effort could yield up to $100 million in back taxes, penalties and registration fees." (LINK TO FULL ARTICLE)
Coxy!
He's like the Elliot Ness of Alfa Romeos.
So the next time you see a Bugatti with a Montana plate driving around in Utah just know that guy ain't from Montana, and he's about to get his comeuppance! (or she!)
