Full disclosure: I'm a complete homer for Minky Couture. I have a Monster Minky (one of its largest sizes, Grande is the biggest) and I use it every night on my couch as I watch Pioneer woman, and then I drag it into my bedroom to sleep in.

It's the best blanket of all time. I would make it into a jumpsuit and walk around in it if it were socially acceptable.

But there's these new billboards popping up for Lola blankets. I've never had one and am loyal to Minky, but here's was Cosmopolitan said:

"But if my life depended on choosing one or the other, I'd say that Lola Blankets comes out on top thanks to their slightly-lower cost, chic collabs, and elevated color options. I found the color options of the Minky Couture blankets to be less luxe and more “flat” (lots of bright peppy colors, pastels, and patterns) whereas Lola offers blankets in so many rich, neutral, jewel, earth, and multi-dimensional tones." What??

Color options? That can't be the deciding factor...

Lola is trying to knock-off Minky. It's like choosing Pepsi over Coke.

The reviewer says earlier in the article: "Minky Couture is a little thicker and cozier" while explaining that Lola is "softer." I think I want the thicker cozier blanket personally. But I don't want to be closed minded. I'm sure Lola is fine. But Minky is still king in my book.
