Green Porch Lights Popping Up ALL OVER Utah & Nevada… Here’s Why!
If you've noticed green lights popping up all around your neighborhood, don't be shocked. It's not a VERY LATE St. Patrick's Day celebration, and no your neighbors aren't trying to sell weed. These green lights are a heartfelt and simple way for people in Utah & Nevada to show support for the US Military!
These lights could either be a porch light, a window display, or even those permanent Christmas lights that are shining BRIGHT green. These lights are to be making a statement. That statement is "We see you, appreciate you, and we've got your back!"
WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
This movement about green lights, isn't just about patriotic vibes, it's actually about REAL people, supporting REAL military members, their families, and veterans too. Maybe your neighbor's child, just got deployed, or even the guy down the street that served in the Middle East. Whatever the reason for the green lights, it's a very simple, but powerful way to say "We all recognize the sacrifices you've made for us!"
WHY UTAH & NEVADA?
Let's be real here... If any places knows how to do things big, it's Nevada! Utah is right on the outskirts, but they do things big too! Both states have a very strong sense of community and support for the military. Both Utah and Nevada have their own Air Force Bases with Hill Air Force Base in Utah, and Nellis in Las Vegas!
But again, if you start seeing that green glow lighting up driveways, windows, or porches, just know: It's not a color, it's a message! This is a bright glowing reminder that in Utah and Nevada, we stand for our troops!
