Popular Burger Spot to Close Locations is Utah on the List??
It's devastating when a place with really good sauce closes.
Sauce is one of the staples of a good life.
Everybody has meat and potatoes and french fries and a hot mother-in-law, but what not everybody has is a good reliable sauce.
I mean when you go into a place and they give you fries and all they have is ketchup? What is this Uzbekistan? Gimme something!
Well a burger place with excellent sauce is closing a ton of stores...Red Robin.
From Newsweek: (LINK TO FULL ARTICLE)
"Founded in 1969, the casual dining restaurant chain operates over 495 locations through company and franchise. According to Red Robin's website, about 81 percent of the restaurants are company-owned.
Foodies across the United States could be impacted if the company decides to shut down up to 70 underperforming locations as it assesses its next steps, which includes closures when existing leases end." (LINK TO FULL ARTICLE)
This is terrible news and I'm assuming there will be some Utah locations closing but who knows.
The best thing about Red Robin is the campfire sauce. It's a wonderful blend of mayo and barbecue sauce and xantham gum (I think). Just tremendous. You put it on your steak fries. Shoot it all over your burger. Take some home. We used it to christen our newborn. It's just the best sauce there is and nobody else does it quite like Red Robin which is while I'll be out this weekend with protest signs at our local location if you want to join. Bring your own markers.
