For those of us who wanted to spend as little as possible, EA Sports College Football 25 doesn’t come out until this Friday the 19th.

For those who decided waiting 11 years for a new college football game was long enough, early access has dropped for buyers of the deluxe edition.

Clips, highlights, memes, have taken social media by storm and fans without the game are absorbing all the information they can.

All 134 FBS teams are accounted for in this game, and EA Sports has been clear to point out that they crafted this with the idea that “every team is someone’s favorite team.”

That line has fans anticipating one of the most detailed productions of a sports video game that the world has ever seen.

For the majority of people here in Utah, fans of the Utah Utes, BYU Cougars and Utah State Aggies are dialed in to any piece of media released from someone playing the game to get a glimpse at what their virtual football team and stadium looks like. ‘

Based on a few pictures and video clips I can say that those three schools seem well represented in terms of presentation and aesthetic.

UTAH UTES

Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium has experienced a rating boost in the eye candy department since the last time it appeared on your console:

The Pac-12 logo transforming to the Big 12 patch is joined next to a much more impressive endzone seating section that blocks out the mountain range and trees of yesteryear for an intimidating big screen.

The stadium entrance goes from fans flashing the “U” to players running onto the field through the pyrotechnics as the broadcast raves about Utah being one of the most passionate and underrated environments to play in.

BYU COUGARS

The glowup for BYU’s Lavell Edwards stadium sees changes to the midfield logo, endzone coloring and those cylinder things sandwiching the sideline seating.

As always the mountains remain the piece de resistance nestled into the backdrop.

BYU’s introduction to this point features Cosmo the Cougar as the team runs out to slap the “Go Cougs” banner while the broadcast rolls on about “altitude” and former Cougar quarterbacks through time.

UTAH STATE AGGIES

Shifting further north, the Aggies Maverik Stadium looks spectacular with the work on the stadium reflecting into the game.

Fans were quick to note the west stadium center for the first time in video game glory completing the look.

The game welcomes you to Logan, Utah, the beehive state, before rolling onward.

For another view, here is the Aggies striking first against Wyoming:

Whoever your team is, and for whenever you end up getting the game, as far as environment and vibes go, college football fans will likely be happy when they boot up College Football 25 and see their favorite team take the field.
