Regardless of who emerges victorious this weekend in a must see series, the southern streak is officially at ten straight years of one of these schools from the same region being crowned champion.

Opening week is upon us here in Southern Utah. All 7 Region 9 teams have games this week, many of which are taking the field for the very first time. With weather at a premium here in sunny St. George, this will be a happening place as teams from up north travel down in droves...

St. George has won eight state championships in a row in high school baseball.
