I'll wait at IN-N-OUT for as long as they tell me to.

I always have a sleeping back in my truck and a 64 oz. empty soda cup just in case it's longer than 4 hours.

I'm addicted and have been for almost 20 years.

Here's my order: "Can I get a number one, with onions, fries animal style and a strawberry shake instead of a drink?"

Gotta go animal on the fries otherwise they can be a little monotonous.

There are those that get a little crazy with the "secret menu" I'm not one of them.

But apparently, IN-N-OUT has discovered a little cheat code some cheapskates have been using that I wasn't aware of.

IN-N-OUT Cracking Down

According to Yahoo: (LINK TO FULL ARTICLE)

"The ordering hack, used by some customers to pay just a fraction of the price for one of the popular restaurant chain's secret burgers, has been deleted after corporate officers appear to have caught on to the work-around.

A popular burger known as the "Flying Dutchman" consists of two beef patties and two slices of cheese, with no bun. Yet you won't find it on the burger chain's menu because it is one of In-N-Out's secret menu items."

The Flying Dutchman costs $5.50 in California, so instead of ordering it by name, cheapo's started just ordering two burger patties and two slices of cheese. If you buy them a al carte like that it's cheaper. Two patties and two slices of cheese are $3.70 (in California) so you're saving almost $2 bucks.

But no more! IN-N-OUT now charges the same as a "Flying Dutchman" if you do that nonsense!

Good luck out there!
