The worst era of rock music was post Led Zeppelin and pre-grunge. Hair bands, Kiss, Judas Priest, horribly long guitar solos.

But people who know a lot about music are like "actually Eddie Van Halen is the greatest guitar player ever, most skill, better than Clapton, better than Hendrix!" But I don't want to stand there and watch Eddie Van Halen shred for seven minutes no matter how skilled he is. Guitar shredders like Slash, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Randy Rhoads, I don't want to listen to any of them. I like a balanced band and a 3 minute song.

But there's something about those guitar hero guys, that music lovers still gravitate to them. They can't help themselves!

They're like NBA fans in this way...super skilled high usage, isolation guards are sexy but they can't win anything.

Look at who's gone to the title recently...we've seen Kris Middleton, Jamal Murray, Jimmy Butler, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson lead teams to the Finals. Not solo artists like James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Trae Young, Donovan Mitchell types...yet we can't help but still want those guitar heroes on our team!

There's a large faction of Jazz fans that want to go after Damian Lillard. Lillard shot more than everybody in the league last year but two guys. The Jazz just got rid of a guy just like him but younger!

But we just can't help ourselves! We love guitar heroes!

I love Lillard and everybody else does too. But there's no reason to take a big swing on a guy who's never won anything and who plays a brand of basketball that hasn't won a championship in a long time.

This Is The Biggest Home In Utah

The largest house in Utah is in Springville on a bluff facing the Wasatch Mountains. This house features six bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, a swimming pool with waterfall and lazy river, a basketball court, and a 27-seat theater on 156 acres of land. It's only $17,500,000.00. What a bargain!
