Bankrupt National Retailer Closing All 354 Stores Including Utah
First it was Joann's Fabrics, then Macy's, and Big Lots and a few others.
Now it's Forever 21.
Forever 21 has three stores in Utah and they're likely going down unless somebody buys out the company.

"Forever 21 filed for bankruptcy protection for the second time in six years on Sunday and blamed fast-fashion e-tailers Shein and Temu for its demise.
"The retailer’s operating company is expected to cease all operations in the U.S. and has already begun liquidation sales at its more than 350 locations, but it’s still open for bids if a buyer is willing to take on its inventory and keep running its stores, court filings show." That dang Temu!
I'm kind of amazed that a lot of these brick and mortar stores lasted as long as they did with Amazon around.
I understand most people want to try on clothes in person before buying them, but now I think people are cool with returning stuff through the mail.
When that became the norm, stores like Forever 21 were doomed.
And especially when Temu came out and it's cheaper than everything even though the product reputation is bad.
Poor Forever 21.
There are those that don't have any pity, like @lextakesthecity:
"All Forever 21 needed to do was revamp their clothes to fit the current days aesthetic and stop selling shirts that said “taco tuesday” but no they didn’t want to listen. RIP my girl."
Well, it's time to go back to Old Navy I guess, ladies. It was fun while it lasted!
