I do.

He knows every kid from Mater Dei and St. John Boscoe.

He knows where Jeremiah Smith went to school and who his coach was!

He knows that St. Edward high in Lakewood Ohio has won 7 state titles in 20 years.

He knows that Alabama has 17 5-star players. He loves the star rankings.

And I think the star rankings are hocus pocus.

These are 17 year olds, who cares about the stars that were bestowed upon them by a bunch of guys in fanny packs,,

Well let's take a look at 5-star quarterbacks recently

Drew Allar who took Penn State to the final four.

Arch Manning is coming in hot at Texas.

Nico Iamaleava may be a pudwhack, but he took Tennessee to the playoff last year.

Dylan Raiola at Nebraska instantly changed the temperature in Lincoln.

Quinn Ewers who went to back to back final fours.

Caleb Williams got laid in his crib by the Pig Farmer, but also won a Heisman.

Most of those guys have gotten it done.

BYU Lands Star Quarterback

For every 5-star DJ Uiagalelei and Spencer Rattler, there's 3 or four 5 star QBs like CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix.

BYU just signed a 5-star QB in Ryder Lyons. And as much as I hate the star rankings, more times then not a 5-star quarterback takes you where you want to go.
