REGION NINE GAMEDAY! High School Football in Southern Utah Tonight

It's week five and we've got three games on the slate tonight presented by Ideal Home and Auto Paint! Region Nine Gameday pregame show starts at 5pm Built by Buck's Ace Hardware!

Desert Hills at Crimson Cliffs - ESPN 97.7

Rematch of the state title last year, I'm sure that hasn't been brought up in either locker room. For some reason Crimson Cliffs is ranked #9 in the 4A RPI right now even though they look to be a juggernaut through the first four games.

Desert Hills has been in a groove the last couple weeks against Minico and Pine View. Tytan Mason is in the running for region MVP. He had four more scores last week.

Everybody will be looking at quarterback Beau Wall tonight who will have another huge challenge facing this Crimson Cliffs defense. Here's our Quarterback U. breakdown this week on Wall:

Hurricane at Pine View - 890 KDXU 

Pine View lost this game last year and will be going full-throttle all game on offense just like they have all year. We'll see if the Tigers can keep up with one of the most high octane offenses in 4A to this point in the season. Pine View took the loss last week against Desert Hills.

Cedar at Snow Canyon - 590 KSUB

Snow Canyon is red hot coming into their first region game. They've beaten two Las Vegas teams in a row and Tank Kelly has been tremendous all season. Cedar is looking to rebound after losing big at home last week to Crimson Cliffs.
