Stimulus Checks Still Available for Utah in 2025

It's possible we still aren't past the era of stimulus checks.

Those were the days...walking out to the mailbox in a bathrobe, box of Cheese-its in hand, Covid-19 all over your face and hands, reach in...and eureka! A couple of G's of stimulus!

Well, according to Yahoo!, there's still some checks that need to be claimed from 2021: (LINK TO FULL ARTICLE)

"If you thought stimulus checks were a thing of the past, it’s a good idea to double-check your 2021 tax returns. Why? Earlier this year, the U.S. government initiated a series of Recovery Rebate Credit payments given to taxpayers who missed out on claiming previous stimulus checks. And the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) began distributing up to $1400 to eligible individuals in December 2024, with more money being given later this month."

Apparently, there's still around 1 million taxpayers that are due a $1400 dollar check.

If you earned $75,000 dollars or less in 2021 as an individual or $150,000 or less as a household and missed the Recovery Rebate Credit, you could get the check.

Here's how to check your eligibility:

You can go to the IRS website and there's a "Get My Payment" link that you can use to fill out your information.
