Back in the 80's nobody wanted to be a nerd. They made movies about it.

Now "nerds" run the world and tell us all what to do.

There's never been a better time to be in to nerdy things. Comic books, dragons, Emma Watson, video games, even sports because of the analytic obsession.

Everybody has some nerd in them it just comes out in different ways. So if you're a closeted nerd who is looking for something to do in Utah, here's a top 5 list.

Here's some of the best answers they got.

1. Go to the filming locations of Dumb and Dumber. (From u/GovernorCox)

Great tip!

The best movie ever made.

2.  Rockhounding. Tons of spots all over the state. Get your geology and geography nerding on! (u/mowikn)

Nive! Love a good quartz!

3. Salt Lake FanX

This couldn't be more on the nose.

This place is heaven for nerds.

4. Go see a real silent movie surrounded by one of last few remaining real Wurlitzer pipe organs in the world played by some of the last professionals in the craft. (u/kal8el77)

What?

I'm not sure exactly what this is but it looks like there's a bunch of nerds there.

5. We Geek Together in Provo

There's a store in Provo that looks to take the cake. Check it out. It's called We Geek Together. No judgement everyone is welcome.
