Legendary Utah Bakery Called Best in the State
Is there a better place on earth than a bakery?
Some people might say the ocean, or Yosemite, or Fuddruckers...but for me it's a bakery.
I remember taking a field trip as a kid to a bakery and seeing the bags of frosting that they squeeze and thinking: "I hope to one day be a baker."
The smell and the sight of all the different pastries lined up in the glass case...what could be better.
According to Femalefoodie.com, the best bakery in Utah is called Tulie Bakery in Salt Lake City.
Here's what she had to say: (LINK TO FULL ARTICLE)
"I’d be red-faced lying to anyone if I denied this was my favorite Salt Lake City bakery. I’ve tried everything (true story) in their flawless case. Some of my favorite pastries include the pain au jambon (ham croissant), rustic fruit tart, lemon bar, and chocolate bouchon."
Goodness gracious.
I'd kill to go to this place and just sit down with a newspaper and build a fort.
And apparently, according to Femalefoodie.com they have lunch: (LINK TO FULL ARTICLE)
"Their panini pressed sandwiches are to die for and if French onion soup is your thing then this is your place. They have a new location on 15th and 15th which is amazing but if you want to visit the original stop by the 700 south address below. Foodie tip: Tulie sells fresh, hot beignets on a first-come first-serve basis on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays."
Alright, that's it. We're going up. We'll take a bus. Let me know you're Venmo in the comments. I'll bill you.
