Utah 4A Hoops: Region 9’s biggest matchups!

This is the time of the year where the puzzle becomes a bit more clear.

Statistics start to become reliable, records become a good indication of what team may or may not be good, and almost everyone has faced a quality opponent of equal or greater strength.

We have moved past the guessing, wondering and hoping and have begun to understand what may be in store for this year’s region 9 teams.

This week is the final week for local teams before they begin in region tilts right before the Christmas break, unless your Snow Canyon, who still have 7 games to go before they matchup with Crimson Cliffs in early January.

Pre-season is a loose term in the RPI era, but this is the final chance to iron things out before you take on a region opponent.

This creates one of the most important weeks in hoops, as everyone wants to be at their best when facing their largest rivals.
