What is it March?

Well according to KSL.com, big storms are going to hit Utah this weekend and will continue into next week.

"As a reminder that it's still winter, the next storm has the potential to deliver over a foot of snow in some mountain areas." (LINK TO FULL KSL ARTICLE)

Yikes so what does that mean for us down in the valleys?

"Wasatch Back communities may also receive a few inches of snow, but the odds of that trickling down into the valleys aren't as strong. The weather service models note there's a small chance valley communities could also receive snow..."

Ok so the main way this will effect people not up in the mountains is the temperature. It's supposed to drop down to the 40s up north and the low 50s in St. George.

I love winter but by March I'm ready to sit back at a park and tear into a bag of Funyans while my wife plays with the kids on the playground. I want to be able to go for a nice brisk walk down to the 7-Eleven without having to worry about wearing mittens. I want to be able to get into my car and roll the windows down you know what I mean.

March is a time for basketball, a time for hikes and flower picking.

It sounds like we'll avoid a ton of snow in the valleys this time but who's to say it won't dump on us later in the month or even in April? Please no.
