Beloved California Fast Food Chain FINALLY Coming to Utah!!
There are those who say things like: "let's just eat in tonight we have some of that pasta leftover."
And then there are others who say: "Save it, sister. we're going downtown."
America was built on fast-food chains. People figured out they could subsist on chicken nuggets and special sauce for the entire winter without having to do much more than work part time at Blockbuster.
Then Taco Bell came out with the Cheesy Gordita Crunch and people lost their proverbial s***. Heshers and stoners for miles would descend on 'the Bell' as they called it anywhere from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. and just go hog wild.
Well, now we're at the present day and there's a lot of rejoicing in Utah because there's a new California chicken place that's headed our way called ...Starbird.
According to KSL.com (LINK TO FULL ARTICLE)
"Starbird, a chicken chain restaurant centering on "super-premium fast food concepts," announced on Monday a franchise development agreement to open five new locations across Salt Lake City and surrounding areas" beginning as early as late 2025 or early 2026."
According to the website: (LINK TO WEBSITE)
"Starbird was founded in 2016, and our vision from the beginning was to re-invent the traditional fast food experience. Long before we opened our doors, we were obsessed with perfecting our recipe for crispy chicken. We believed that fried chicken hadn’t reached its true potential, too often being heavy, greasy and featuring the same old flavors.
We knew that the bird was meant to be a star — it just needed a little culinary makeover."
What do you think? Are you going to give it a try?
