50 Sodas Discontinued and Gone Forever in Utah
Soda is one of the best things to happen to all of us.
If you make a list, you start with free parking, family, the old Arby's 5-for-5, and then you start running thin and then you think: "a hardball Coke with a pinch of cherry grenadine!"
I can't think of a soda that I hate.
On a plane I'll drink ginger ale. At certain restaurants I'll have an A&W root beer or even a cream soda. Fresca can be very refreshing. Squirt sucks but it's still good. Orange Crush, let's see...of course Sprite, Sierra Mist, Starry are all the same but it still can hit the spot when you need something fresh and without caffeine.
Obviously, for me, Coke is the best. But Dr. Pepper is right there.
I haven't gotten into the diets or zero sugars too much which is becoming a problem for me. I can't walk up a flight of stairs without taking a nap at the halfway point.
Do you like the weird flavors?
And I like the classics. I'm not a huge connoisseur of the fine sodas or the whatever they call them. Kindof the boutique sodas that you find at old stores. I'd love to be that kindof guy who collects different varietals and has strong opinions about Jones Soda but I haven't really ever found one that kicked me in the shins. They're all a little funky if you ask me but maybe that's because I've become a slave to "Big Soda".
Anyway, check out this awesome list of old sodas you can't get anymore.
