FORGIVE US…Most SINFUL States (!) Where Does Utah Rank??
There's nothing worse than sin.
Depending on what book you read will determine what sin is.
Some books say cheering for the Yankees when you live in Utah is a sin.
I don't subscribe to that book. I say if you live in a state that doesn't have a professional team you're a free agent. You can choose whatever team you want but then you have to stick with them until you die and go to hell.
Others say sin is punching someone who's smaller than you.
Others say it's putting a pig in a reverse chokehold.
Well whatever your definition, Wallethub has their annual list of most sinful states. (FULL LINK TO ARTICLE)
And Utah came in 47th!
That means there are three states less sinful than the Beehive State.
I'm insulted.
The top five most sinful:
1. Nevada
2. California
3. Florida
4. Louisiana
5. Texas
The top five least sinful:
46. Wyoming
47. Utah
48. Vermont
49. New Hampshire
50. Idaho
They did it based on drinking and gambling, anger and hatred, jealousy, greed etc...
"Red states and blue states may like to point to one another as the source of all that is wrong with the U.S., but the truth is that each of the 50 states has its own virtues and vices. For example, New Mexico has the worst drug problem, and it certainly comes as no surprise that Nevada is the most gambling-addicted." (FULL LINK TO ARTICLE)
Good for Utah being low on this list. Utah was top 20 in the vanity ranking which I think is probably accurate. But pretty low in the 'excesses and vices' rank.
I recommend clicking on the article it's pretty good.
