MUST SEE…The Most Visited Museum in Utah
There's nothing more exciting than a museum.
You walk in...you look for a vending machine...you don't find one...there's a water fountain...you settle for it...somebody's yanking you towards the mammoths...you reach for your phone...it's not in your pocket...it's not in the other pocket...it's...STILL IN THE CAR!!!!
There are people who love museums. I'm from Illinois and people devote their lives to the museums in Chicago.
I prefer the exhibits where you go into the little movie theater thing and watch a 45 minute video about the invention of the cotton gin.
According to Trip Advisor, the top museum to see in Utah is...The Natural History Museum of Utah. They give it 4.5 stars.
I guess it's ranked high because of all the dinosaur bones.
Trip Advisor says: (LINK TO FULL POST)
"As the Utah state museum of natural history, this top attraction provides an introduction to the science in Utah's remarkable landscape! With engaging exhibits and over 5,000 artifacts on display, the Museum features Utah's paleontology discoveries, fascinating gems and minerals found world-wide, preserved artifacts from Utah's prehistoric peoples, and stories told by the five Native nations that lie within the state's boundaries."
I like the dinosaur bones but am looking forward to when they do the thing with the DNA caught in a mosquito in amber?
Eventually we'll have dino zoos and we won't have to use our imaginations as much. People say dinosaurs had feathers and looked more like birds. I don't like that theory. That's not as scary.
Anyway, let me know in the comments if you've been to the big Utah Natural History Museum!
