Hockey in Salt Lake City may no longer be a new topic, but it remains one of the more exciting ones.

Year two approaches for Utah’s NHL squad, now dubbed the “Mammoth” and fans are hoping the year is as big as the creature itself.

If you formed new allegiances or swapped out old ones in favor of the Mammoth last year, you may be wanting to know when and where you can catch the fellas in the year 2025.

With the NHL schedule officially dropping today, fans now have the necessary tools to road map what Utah Mammoth games they simply can’t miss.

The NHL regular season begins on October 7th this year with a triple header, featuring the defending champion, Florida Panthers, hanging their banner against the Blackhawks of Chicago.

Two days later, Utah will take the ice for the first time in the 2025-2026 regular season, as they do battle with the Colorado Avalanche in the mile high.

That road life will come at the Mammoth fast and heavy as they deal with Central division foes such as the opener in Colorado, followed by Nashville and Chicago in the span of 4 days, all away from the cozy confines of the Delta Center.

The home opener and introduction of the revised Delta Center, which has been improved with the hockey viewer in mind, will go down on October 15th as Utah host the Calgary Flames for their 4th game of the year.

That’s the start of a 4 game home stand, as the fans of Utah will give their Tusks Up to San Jose, Boston and Colorado October 17th-21st.

Utah’s longest road trip takes place from November 28th to December 6th, featuring six games, starting in Dallas and moving through St. Louis, San Jose, Anaheim, Vancouver and Calgary in that order.

The Mammoth will have 9 separate road trips lasting 3 or more games throughout the season.

From October 23rd to November 9th, Utah will play 8 of their 9 games in that period on the road.

The single home game will be sandwiched between 4 road games apiece on November 2nd as Utah faces Tampa Bay.
