Southern Utah, Are You in the Tribe?

I've always had a great respect for the Jewish faith.

For one thing, they don't proselyte. They don't try to sell anybody on their religion. In fact they'd probably prefer you not join. This is why they don't have missionaries. You're either Jewish or you're not. 

Secondly, they rarely convert to another religion. Whereas a Christian might be a Methodist and then convert to being a Born Again Christian, Jews are Jews for life.

This is the same thing I love about hockey fans.

Hockey fans don't give a hot damn that you don't like their sport.

In fact, they don't want you to like it!

They don't want a bunch of poser fans who don't know the difference between a "two-line pass" and "icing" is filling up their seats.

You're either hockey fan or you're not.

And unlike soccer which is always trying to appeal to the mainstream sports fan...

Or baseball who is trying to win back the young generation of fans,

Hockey has no interest in you unless you're already in the tribe.
