Remember when Ricky Gervais hosted the Golden Globes and he ripped all the celebrities and called them perverts to their faces?

He talked about them selling their souls to work with Harvey Weinstein and mocked their phony global warming stances while they ride private jets everywhere? That was so satisfying. I watch that at least once a month. Watching all of these self-important celebrities, who are constantly lecturing everybody, be lambasted was so satisfying. And the place was completely silent as he ripped them. It was awesome.

Last night, I got a little of that same joy watching the Knicks choke like dogs in their precious sacred Madison Square Garden.

And the best part was the silence in the arena as it happened. It was like in slow motion as the Pacers made three pointer after three pointer. And the camera would pan to these celebrity fans in the crowd with looks of horror on their faces, similar to the looks of the celebs who were at the Golden Globes.

Here's Ben Stiller, Larry David (whom I love), Jon Hamm (who's from St. Louis, why is he cheering for the Knicks for heaven's sake?), Spike Lee, Timothee Chalamet...and they're all dressed in their ridiculous celebrity "look-at-me" outfits and watching them squirm and be in pain as the Knicks gave up one of the biggest leads in playoff history was just so enjoyable.

I will be watching this meltdown every month or so and I can only hope the Knicks go on to lose the series.

Ten NY Knicks' Players Who Got in Trouble with the Law, and Why

Pro athletes are just like us in certain ways, including that every now and then, they get in trouble with the law. These former NY Knicks had this happen.
