Remember this play?
This is what won the game for Crimson Cliffs at home. One of the best finishes of the year.
Lincoln Holmes was electric in that game but Phoenix McWillis made the game saving block for the Mustangs.
Jordan Eaton had 18 points to lead Crimson.
Star Watch...
For Desert Hills, look out for Eli Allred tonight. We know Holmes will get his usual buckets, but Allred has been awesome from the midrange and can knock it down from deep. It's hard to score at the rim against Crimson because of guys like Houston Johnsen, Sean Felts, McWillis, and Eaton. Holmes will attack but they're going to need Allred to knock down some shots.
For Crimson Cliffs, Steele Barben. Desert Hills is coming off a game where they knocked down 18 threes. The Thunder are one of the best in the state from beyond the arc. If Barben can hit a three or four threes that's going to be a game changer because this game will likely be another low scoring brawl.
X-Factor...
For Desert Hills, Jackson Holman. Holman has shown he can go off and score in bunches this year. He had 20 and 17 point games in the non-region schedule. If he can get going and help the top scorers for the Thunder it's going to be tough to beat this team at home.
For Crimson Cliffs, Luke Johnson. This kid is a bonafide point guard who can get to the rim and distribute. He's also great in transition. In their first matchup with DHills he attacked all night. He's going to be key if the Mustangs get the win tonight.
