Presented by Ideal Home and Paint

Crimson played one of their best defensive games of the year on Wednesday against Dixie. They held the Flyers to 43 points and came inches away from getting the upset win on the road.

Snow Canyon is rolling right now. They are 5-1 in region and are coming off a bye night on Wednesday. Their last time out they beat Desert Hills 55-39 even though they didn't shoot it great, only 23% from deep and 38% from the field.

Owen Mackay has scored 22 or more points five games in a row. The last time he was held under that mark was against Crimson Cliffs on January 4th.

The Mustangs have a tremendous front court with rim protectors all over the floor. Phoenix McWillis has 18 blocks on the year. He had multiple against Dixie and so did Sean Felts. When you add in Houston Johnsen and Jordan Eaton, that's a tough group to get points in the paint against.

"Our defense has been getting better as the season progresses but we can't afford to be impatient or selfish on offense," said Crimson Cliff's Coach Kent Fairbourn. "Especially against a disciplined team like Snow Canyon who knows how to take advantage of it."

In their first matchup this season, Snow Canyon's Will Warner was tremendous. He had 17 points and three steals. Warner is deadly in the open court. Crimson will have to limit live ball turnovers against the Warriors.
