Utah, Do You Like Watching Caleb Williams Lose?

I can't stand watching those commercials with characters from The Office. They are for some internet company and feature Kevin, Oscar, and Angela. They are the lesser characters who are desperate for any work they can get. I don't like them because it is the actors trying to be funny without the writers. What made them funny on The Office was the script. It was written to look improvised, but it was all carefully crafted, and that is what made them good. On their own, they are not funny.

I was watching Caleb Williams last night, trying to figure out if it was possible to pull for him this year. At first, he looked amazing. He started by completing 10 of his first 10 throws, and they were not just check downs. He was pushing it down the field a little bit. I thought, maybe he is good after all. He is spinning it. He has the colored nails, DJ Moore, the other guy. Maybe Caleb is good!

But after the first couple of drives, he stunk. What happened? His script ran out. He was great for the scripted 15 plays they had worked on since fall camp. He had dreamed about those plays for weeks and memorized every detail. But once things went unscripted, he was running around like a chicken with no idea what to do, and he blew a 17 to 6 lead at home.
